Parking a sale means that a sale in progress at the till is saved in the background, or “parked”, without being charged immediately. This is useful, for example:
In a restaurant or café environment, when a customer's order is recorded with a table number and payment is made later.
In service sales, when the invoice is made only after the service.
When you want to open multiple sales simultaneously and return to them later
Parking a Sale in Vektori Till (till application)
Add products to the shopping cart as usual in the sales process.
When all products have been added, find and press the park function in the sales line edit window.
The park function is found in the sales line edit window (Edit window) by tapping a product in the shopping cart and selecting the option “Park sale”.
This saves the sale in the background for later charging.
Please note:
The parked sale remains in open tabs/tables and can be reopened for payment later.
Parked sales are stored on the till and also synchronised to the cloud when the till device is connected to the cloud.
Open and Pay a Parked Sale
Select the open sale / table or other parked sale event from the list in the till application.
Check the sale and make any necessary changes (e.g. add products or discount).
Proceed to payment and complete the payment as normal at the till (by cash, card, or other payment method).
Once the payment is made, the sale is removed from the parked state and becomes a normal charged sale.
