Why?
Real-time processing of parked sales across multiple tills requires functionality that smoothly synchronises sales both to the cloud and between tills.
This enables up-to-date information on all tills without manual actions.
How does it affect the retailer's operations?
- Parked sales are updated in real time between tills
- Handling sales on multiple tills becomes easier (e.g. continuing a sale on another till)
- There is no need to update information separately by opening the parked sales view
- Tills can also automatically update:
- Products
- Product categories
Required actions
The functionality must be enabled at the till level.
Enabling real-time synchronisation
- Go to till management:
- Settings → Terminals
- Open the desired till for editing:
- Click the menu next to the till name
- Select Edit
- Enable the setting:
- Activate “WebSocket transmission”
- Save the changes
Effect of settings
- Restart the till application so it immediately fetches the new settings
- Alternatively, the till will update the settings automatically from the cloud over time
Notes
- This feature particularly improves working in environments with multiple tills
- Ensure the setting is activated on all tills in use for perfect synchronisation
