The end of the day is a procedure that closes the cash register day and ensures that sales and payments have been recorded correctly.

What does the end of the day do?

The end of the day:

• compiles the day's sales

• displays amounts by payment method

• facilitates cash register reconciliation

• locks the day's transactions

Performing the end of the day

1. Press either the gear icon or the Functions option on the cash register terminal

2. Select Z report (End of day)

3. Check the report information

4. You may send or print the end of day report if desired

It is recommended to perform the end of the day at the end of each working day.
