Error message regarding Nets payment terminal problem.
First restart the payment terminal and then the till again. This will refresh the connection between the terminal and the till.
Payment terminal network connection
Nets payment terminals operate either via a local network or Wi-Fi network. Check on the payment terminal that the network or Wi-Fi icon is green. If it is red or white, the terminal is not connected to the network. Check the functionality of your local network/Wi-Fi network. If necessary, contact Nets payment terminal support to get the terminal connected to the network.
ECR connection to the till cloud
The payment terminal does not communicate directly with the Vektori till application but does so via Nets' own cloud service (connected@cloud). When the payment terminal has a connection to the Nets service, the ECR icon on the display is green.
NOTE! If the icon is red or white, there is no connection to the service. This usually occurs because the device has no network connection or the device settings are incorrect. Contact Nets payment terminal support and request instructions for connecting the payment terminal to the Nets connected@cloud service.
Changing Nets payment terminal settings yourself
You can also check or change the Nets payment terminal settings yourself (there is also a video below). You will need the merchant card for this. Instructions are as follows:
-
Connection settings: Swipe the Merchant card, press 6 - 1 - 2, check the settings below:
-
Comm. type = Wifi (Move3500 and iSMP) / Ethernet (Desk3500, Lane3000).
NOTE! If the payment terminal uses a 4G SIM card, select GPRS here
DHCP enabled = DHCP (there can also be fixed IP addresses if the network is configured accordingly).

NOTE! If the payment terminal uses a 4G SIM card, select GPRS here
IF this setting is not found on the payment terminal, there are two possibilities,
either the device does not support GPRS (contact Nets support) or the software needs updating:software version 10.10, which brings this 4G support between the terminal and Cloud, needs to be downloaded
updating the terminal: Swipe Merchant card - press 8 - press 1
the device will start downloading the new software version; depending on connection speed this will take some time
once the update is installed and the device restarts, the GPRS option will become available as a Comm. type.
Note: Restart the device again to ensure all settings are updated and tested.
-
ECR/TLS = Yes.
ECR IP address = 003.033.230.243

Payment interruption on Nets payment terminal
If a payment is interrupted during a transaction due to a connection problem, it is advisable to
first check the internet connection
and make sure the ECR logo on the payment terminal is green.
NOTE! Pressing the cancel button will interrupt the transaction.
If the problem is not resolved simply by restarting the software and payment terminal:
the application can be uninstalled, reinstalled and the till reconnected to the cloud.
Charging card payments bypassing the till
You can make manual charges on the payment terminal even if it is integrated with Vektori Till. However, note that Vektori Till and Vektori cloud service will not be aware of manually made payment transactions. They will only appear in Nets' reporting. Also, printing a receipt is not possible unless the payment terminal itself has a receipt printer.
ISMP4: Press the F key + 1 + enter the amount + green button.
Move 3500 / Desk 3500: Press the menu key (black circle) + 1 + enter the amount + green button.
Lane 3000: Press the Menu key + 1 + enter the amount + green button.
