Setting up the N950 payment terminal

What this is about
This page provides instructions for setting up the N950 payment terminal in the Vektori.fi cash register system. The device is pre-installed and already contains the Vektori Kassa application, so the setup is quicker than usual.

Getting started
1. Turn on the N950 payment terminal.
2. Open the pre-installed Vektori Kassa application on the device.
3. Log in with your workspace credentials.
4. The device is pre-configured, so payments work without any additional settings.

What you can do on this page
- Log in to the cash register application directly on the payment terminal
- Receive payments without selecting the payment terminal separately
- Print receipts directly from the device
- Adjust interface settings and printing methods

Tips and notes
- There is no need to select the payment terminal or receipt printer separately – they are ready to use.
- You can adjust the interface size via: Settings → Display → Interface size.
- From the receipt printer settings, you can choose:
- v1: corresponds to the preview, but printing is slower
- v2: faster printing, but the layout does not fully match the preview
- Payments are processed through a separate Terminal application, which opens automatically during a payment transaction.
- In this integration, the payment terminal and receipt printer may be referred to as Poynt, because Poynt’s SDK is used in the background for communication between applications.
