What it is about
The Tickets page is used to manage customer service requests, support requests, and other similar tasks (tickets). It is a centralized tool for organising customer communication, task statuses, and responsibilities to ensure that no request goes unnoticed.
How to get started
You can access the Tickets page from the main menu on the left side of Vektor, under Tickets. At the top of the page, you will see tabs that divide the tickets according to their current status: New, Open, Waiting for customer, and Closed. The number following the tab (e.g. 0) directly indicates how many tickets are currently in that status within the system.
What you can do on this page
- Create a new ticket: Click the blue + New ticket button in the top right corner to start logging a new customer service or support request.
- Browse and organise the table: Tickets are listed in a clear table. You can probably sort the rows in ascending or descending order by clicking the column headers (e.g. ID, Customer, Status, Priority, Updated).
- Edit visible columns:
- Click the list icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the table.
- From the menu that appears, you can check or uncheck the columns you want to see (e.g. hide Keywords or show the Created column). Remember to click OK at the end.
- Filter tickets:
- Click the Filters button in the top right corner.
- A side panel will open on the right, allowing you to search tickets very precisely. You can filter your search by, for example, ID, customer name, email, subject, priority, or ticket owner (handler).
- Finally, select the blue Filter button. You can clear your selections with the Clear button.
Tips and notes
- Quick search in the top bar: There is a quick search field in the top bar of the page, which is by default set to search specifically within tickets. This is the fastest way to find a specific ticket if you already know a keyword or the ticket number, for example.
- Adjusting pagination: If there are many tickets, you can adjust the number of rows displayed at once from the Show per page dropdown menu in the Filters panel (default is 15).
