What it’s about
The Invoices tab displays all invoices for an individual customer in a table format. You can see the amount, status, invoice date, due date, and billing method of each invoice, as well as the total outstanding amount. This tab is useful when you want to review the customer’s billing history or navigate directly to the details of a specific invoice.
Getting started
- Go to Customers in the menu on the left-hand side.
- Click the name of the customer you want from the list — the customer card will open.
- Click the Invoices tab at the top of the customer card.
What you can do on this page
Browse invoices
The invoices appear in a table, with each invoice on its own row. The columns in the table are:
- Invoice number — the invoice identifier, which you can click to go directly to the invoice details
- Amount (excluding VAT) — the invoice amount without VAT
- Amount (including VAT) — the invoice amount including VAT
- Outstanding — the unpaid amount
- Invoice date — the date the invoice was created
- Due date — the payment due date for the invoice
- Invoice status — e.g. Ready for billing or Sent
- Billing method — how the invoice is delivered to the customer
- Latest payment reminder — information on the most recently sent payment reminder
Open a single invoice
Clicking the number of an invoice takes you directly to that invoice’s own page, where you can view and edit all its details.
Create a new invoice
The + Add button in the top right corner creates a new invoice for the customer.
Edit column visibility
From the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the table, you can choose which columns are displayed. Available columns include: ID, invoice number, amount (excluding VAT), amount (including VAT), outstanding, reference number, invoice date, due date, payment term, payment posting date, sending time, invoice status, collection chain stage, investigation status, billing method, number of payment reminders sent, latest payment reminder, salesperson, created and updated. Select the columns you want and click OK.
View summaries
Summary cards are shown below the table:
- Amount (excluding VAT) — the total amount of all invoices without VAT
- Amount (including VAT) — the total amount of all invoices including VAT
- Outstanding — the total amount of unpaid invoices
Tips and notes
- Summary cards below the table provide a quick overview of the customer’s billing status — you can immediately see how much is outstanding without separate calculations.
- By adjusting column visibility, you can display exactly the information you need in the table — for example, the collection chain status or sending time.
- Invoice status shows at a glance whether the invoice is still ready for billing or has already been sent to the customer.
- The total number of rows is shown at the bottom of the table (e.g. "9 PRINT"), so you can immediately see how many invoices the customer has in total.
