What it’s about
The Tasks tab displays all tasks associated with the customer. Tasks can be viewed either in a list view or a card-based board view, and can be filtered by responsible person, status, and priority. The tab is useful when you want to track which customer matters are open, who they are assigned to, and when they need to be completed.
Getting started
- Go to Customers in the left-hand menu.
- Click the name of the customer you want from the list — the customer card will open.
- Click the Tasks tab at the top of the customer card.
What you can do on this page
Browse tasks in list view
By default, tasks are shown in a table format, with each task on its own row. The table columns are:
- Title — the name of the task, which you can click to access the task details
- Related to — the order, customer, or other item the task is linked to
- Priority — the task’s priority: Low, Normal or High
- Status — the task’s progress status: Open, New, In Progress or Completed
- Tags — tags attached to the task
- Due date — when the task should be completed by
Browse tasks in card view
You can switch the list view to card view by clicking the grid icon at the top right. In card view, tasks are grouped into columns by due date: Overdue, Today, Tomorrow and Later. Each task card shows the task title, responsible person, due date and the item the task is related to. At the bottom of the card are quick actions for deleting, editing and marking the task as complete.
Task-specific actions
On the left side of each task row is an action button that opens a menu with the following options:
- Complete — marks the task as done
- Show — opens the task details
- Edit — opens the task editing view
- Delete — deletes the task
Create a new task
The + New task button in the top right creates a new task for the customer.
Filter tasks
Above the table are three filters you can use to narrow down the displayed tasks:
- Responsible person — show all tasks or filter to a specific person’s tasks
- Status — filter by status: All, Open, New, In Progress or Completed
- Priority — filter by priority: All, Low, Normal or High
You can also search tasks by title using the search field.
Edit column visibility
From the hamburger menu at the top left of the table, you can choose which columns to display. Available columns are: title, related to, user, team, priority, status, tags, due date, created and updated. Select the columns you want and click OK.
Tips and notes
- Card view is especially useful when you want to quickly see which tasks are overdue and which are due to be handled in the coming days.
- Status filter is a handy way to hide completed tasks and focus only on open ones.
- Related to column shows which item the task is linked to — tasks can be attached both to the customer in general and to a specific order or other item.
- Due date should be set for each task so that the grouping in card view works properly and overdue tasks stand out clearly.
