What it is about
The Order Events tab shows the event history of a customer's orders — that is, all the changes made to the orders. Each event records what changed, when, and in connection with which order. The tab is useful when you want to find out how the status of an order has developed or what actions have been taken on it.
Getting started
- Go to Customers in the menu on the left-hand side.
- Click on the name of the desired customer from the list — the customer card will open.
- Click on the Order Events tab in the customer card — the tab is found on the lower tab bar.
What you can do on this page
Browse order events
The events are displayed as a list in chronological order, newest first. Each event shows:
- Time — when the event was recorded
- Event description — what the action involved, for example which receipt payment was recorded
- Order reference — a link to the relevant order, which you can click to go directly to the order details
- Status changes — if the order’s delivery status, billing status, or payment status has changed, the event shows the old and new status side by side, separated by an arrow
Open order from event
On the right-hand side of each event is the order reference number as a link. Clicking it takes you directly to the details of that order without a separate search.
Tips and notes
- Order Events complement the Timeline tab — if you want to see only the change history of orders without other event types, the Order Events tab is the clearest place for this purpose.
- Status change colour codes quickly indicate the direction in which the order status has changed — you can see at a glance, for example, when an order has moved to invoiced and paid.
- The reference number link in each event takes you directly to the relevant order, so you can quickly view all the details of the order.
