What it is about
The Cash Sales tab displays all cash sales of an individual customer in a table format. You can see each sale’s receipt number, sale time, cash register terminal, salesperson, type, and total amount. This tab is useful when you want to review the customer’s cash purchase history or open details of a single receipt.
Note: The customer must be selected at the point of sale for the sales to appear here.
Getting started
- Go to Customers in the menu on the left-hand side.
- Click the name of the customer you want from the list — the customer card will open.
- Click the Cash Sales tab at the top of the customer card.
What you can do on this page
Browse cash sales
Cash sales are displayed in a table, with each sale on its own row. The table columns are:
- Receipt number — the sale identifier; clicking it takes you directly to the receipt details
- Sale time — the date and time when the sale was made
- Cash register terminal — the terminal where the sale was made
- Salesperson — the person who made the sale or the cashier
- Type — the type of sale
- Price list — the price list used in the sale
- Total (incl. VAT) — the total sale amount including VAT
Open a single receipt
By clicking the receipt number, you go directly to the details of that cash sale. The document icon on the left side of each row opens the print or preview view of the receipt.
Edit column visibility
From the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the table, you can select which columns are shown. Available columns are: ID, receipt number, sale time, cash register terminal, salesperson, type, price list, total, and total (incl. VAT). Select the columns you want and click OK.
Filter cash sales
The Filters button in the top right corner opens the filter panel, where you can limit the sales displayed by the following criteria:
- Receipt number — search by a specific receipt number
- Sale time — limit by start and end dates
- Cash register terminal — filter sales by a specific terminal
- Salesperson — filter sales by a specific salesperson
- Payment method — filter by payment method
- Price list — filter by price list
- Product — search sales containing a specific product
- Show per page — select the number of rows shown at once
- Additional conditions — build more precise searches with additional conditions
Click Filter to apply the filters or Clear to reset the selections.
View summary
A summary card Total (incl. VAT) is shown below the table, displaying the total sum of all visible cash sales including VAT.
Tips and notes
- The summary card below the table shows the total amount of filtered sales — using filters makes it easy to get a summary, for example, from a specific time period.
- The Cash register terminal column indicates where the sale was made, which is useful if the customer has transactions at multiple tills.
- The total number of rows is shown at the bottom of the table, so you can immediately see how many cash sales the customer has in total.
- The column headers are clickable — clicking a column name sorts the list by that column in ascending or descending order.
